Yoga and Love: Integrating yoga into your relationships, and cultivating the yoga of relationship.
Yoga inspires our optimal mind, body, and heart capacities. Often we experience ourselves as more loving, more kind, more empathetic, and more inclined to consistently be so. We long to share this with our loved ones. Yet we may try to bring this into our relationships with less success than we had hoped. Whether this is your relationship with a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or friend, it is possible to integrate yoga successfully into your relationships. Jay and Sarahjoy will provide an engaging dialogue about what we long for, and why, as our yoga practices deepen, how to navigate the tenderness of cross currents in relationships, and how to create pro-active steps toward integrating yoga into any relationship. We’ll also allow time for discussing the Yoga of Relationship. Specifically, we’ll discuss Ahimsa, Satya, and Bramhacharya as well as the tools of yoga that we can turn to when our triggered mind needs support from our wise heart.
